How to stop an app's notifications from being dismissed

Steps

1. Open Settings > Notifications.
2. Tap Exclusion list. The row shows how many apps are selected.
3. Tick the apps whose notifications must always stay in your panel, such as your calendar or banking app.
4. Go back. Those apps are never dismissed.

Tips

• The Exclusion list always applies, whichever dismiss rule you chose.
• If you tick an app that is already in the Inclusion list, the app asks you to remove it there first.
• The list is saved with your settings and is restored after a reinstall when Android backup is on.
