In Settings > General Settings, the Notifications for alarms row shows Allowed or Not allowed.
Why it matters
Alarms appear as notifications. If Android blocks notifications for the app, alarms can't ring or appear, and the app icon badge can't show.
Steps
- Tap the row.
- Choose Allow notifications if Android asks.
- If Android doesn't show a prompt, the app opens its notification settings so you can switch them on.
