How to fix Samsung sleeping apps stopping Notification Tracker

Samsung phones put unused apps to sleep. Remove Notification Tracker from sleeping and deep sleeping apps so it keeps running.

Steps

  1. Open Android Settings > Battery (Battery and device care).
  2. Tap Background usage limits.
  3. Open Sleeping apps and remove Notification Tracker if it is there.
  4. Open Deep sleeping apps and remove it there too.
  5. Turn Put unused apps to sleep off if you want to be sure.
  6. Open Notification Tracker, go to Settings > General Settings, and check Background activity shows Allowed.

Tip

Menu names change a little between One UI versions. Search for "sleeping apps" in Android Settings if you can't find it.
