The app stopped working after some time. Why?

Some phones stop apps that run in the background to save battery. This is a phone setting, not a fault in the app.

Steps

1. Open Settings > General Settings > Background activity and tap Allow.
2. On Samsung, remove the app from Sleeping apps and Deep sleeping apps (see "How to fix Samsung sleeping apps").
3. On Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Realme and Vivo, turn on Autostart for the app.
4. Restart the phone and check History after an hour.

How you can tell

If your phone stopped the app, a message in History says when it happened and offers a Fix button.
